| Save the dates! Our Horns for the Holidays concert is scheduled for Saturday, December 7 at 4:00 p.m. at Leawood United Methodist Church. We’re also excited to share that we’ve been invited by the Ottawa City Band to perform at their concert on Sunday, December 15, at 2:00 p.m. We’d love for you to join us for both events! We also have two more fun opportunities coming up. First on lucky Friday, Dec. 13, we’re honored to have been selected to perform at the Overland Park Arboretum and Botanical Gardens for their Luminary Walk. This will be held in a heated tent and requires up to 12 players. Additionally, we’ve been invited to play at the Kansas City Zoo alongside the KC Trombone Christmas and the Ad Astra Chamber Orchestra on Saturday, Dec. 14 for their GloWild concert. Band Of Angels and Fox 4 News will be there. Sign up for one or all of these holiday opportunities, whatever works with your schedule. If you plan to participate with us this season, please complete this form by Monday, Oct. 21, 2024. Also, if you know of any young horn players who would like to be part of the KCHC Youth Ensemble, please share this link with them. Rehearsal details for the youth are on the form.
